While passersby may think this is just another celebration of gay, lesbian and transgender pride, they may be surprised to learn that, at the heart of this annual celebration, lies a philanthropic agenda: publicizing charities important to this particular community.
Located in the Lavender Heights area of midtown Sacramento, this event is an all-out party with festival-goers hopping from Faces to Hot Rod's to Badlands to Headhunters...and then back to Faces. Why, you ask? Um, have you seen their bartenders? Those guys have better bikini bodies than most chicks I know.
The only thing that could make guests any happier would be Debbie Gibson, on stage, performing her greatest hits. Oh, too late! That already happened a few years back.
